When i went to start up my mac mini, i was greeted with os utilites with the option to reinstall osx, use disk utility or restore from a time machine backup.
i opened disk utility and had it verify and repair the disk, and it said the volume was ok.
so i took the option of reinstalling osx.
why did it do this? it is a 256 gb mushkin ssd drive, and it had about 89gb space available, i have noticed it has been a bit slower to start up than when i first got it in 2012.
it is a mac mini mid 2011, running osx 10.8.5.
