Hello. I was hoping someone could help me out with a display issue on my iMac. My hard drive recently crashed and I replaced it with a new 1TB Seagate drive (read how to do this on http://octomac.com/). However since I have installed the drive I know see a "grayish band" across the center of my screen. Its very light but you can notice it, especially on white backgrounds. Its about 10 inches long and about 2 inches tall.
I have a 24 inch aluminum iMac, 2.8GHz running 10.5.8 with the latest software updates.
Any ideas on what it could be?
