Hi,

Was wondering if you could help me. I was using my iphone 5 as normal about half hour ago. The entire screen then went black, with black lines, almost static. Now it will only turn on to a grey screen with the apple logo & about 10 small white messages. There is no error code. One says "(NAND) find flash media and keep out, 601 physical NAND block", and several others. All other messages also start with (NAND).

Has anyone any idea what it means? Thanks in advance.

Sarah

Just to verify that you posted in the right place, is your iPhone 5 jailbroken?

If it's not, try the DFU restore.

If you are jailbroken have you tried a "safe" boot? You can safe boot by holding down the Volume UP button when starting your iPhone.

But if you aren't jailbroken there is no option for a safe boot.

No it's not jail broken. Sorry if I've posted in the wrong place. Tried a hard reset. Lock screen is back on but unresponsive now
