Hey all I just got my new mac with tiger installed and I can't get my powermate to work correctly. I can't seem to get it to work in safari or itunes. Is anyone else having this problem? It was woring fine on my ibook with panther.
thanks for replying, the powermate is a pretty cool little device. But for some reason i still can't get it to work. I know how to set it up but it won't do any of the commands I tell it to do. Could this be a tiger bug, or should tiger no even effect it?
Edit:I just wrote them an e-mail asking them if it was a problem related to Tiger.
Old thread, but since it already excists i didn't want to make a new one.
So to my question, has anyone been experiencing problems with the PowerMate/Tiger? I think its been giving me kernel panics since i bought it, and it seems that the name 'powermate' appears in every crash log.
I may be wrong but here is a sample of my most recent crash:

So i just wanted to know if anyone else is having similar problems before i start bitchin at Griffin because it may just be a conflict wih some other peripheral/extension.
My PowerMate seems to be fine with 10.4.2, although it doesn't work quite the same as it did with 10.3.9, for instance, with iTunes it will act as a volume control, but the iTunes volume slider doesn't move up and down in unison as it were. The driver I'm using is v1.6.0.
