I've used the Griffin Survivor cases for years on all my iDevices and they're just about the only case I trust. I especially like the Lime/Black color combo. I'm planning on getting an iPhone 5S, but am a bit disappointed that I won't be able to use Touch ID with my current iPhone 5 case. Griffin makes a Touch-ID compatible version of the Survivor, but it doesn't come in the Lime/Black color.

Does anyone know of any possible modifications I can make to my case for it to work with Touch-ID? I've thought about just cutting off the rubber home button cover, but then the home button would be too far down for my thumb to reach. I don't know if anyone else has come up with a modification for this or not. I couldn't find anything on Google, so I figured I'd ask here.

Thanks!
