Group chat with android and iOS mix - not receiving texts

Hi,

I have been having this issue since like iOS 10 and was wondering if anyone had the same issue.

For some reason, there is one member in my group chats of both android and iOS phones that I cannot see the texts to. The person has an iphone and I can see the texts on a 1on1 text (imessage). But any group text with this person, I cannot see anything that person but I can see from everyone else.

SMS as Text and iMessage are both enabled.

My wife is having a similar issue with her XS and the latest iOS 12. She is not receiving some group texts from Androids (MMS) and iMessages, seemingly randomly. If she reboots her phone, she’ll suddenly get a flood of them, but still, she won’t receive them all. It’s really frustrating her. I may get her to switch to Android over this. ;)

If it’s an AT&T issue, you can no longer see the carrier profile because in Apple’s infinite wisdom in 12, they’ve hidden that now. We’ve flipped the MMS and group texts toggles several times and it hasn’t helped. Oddly none Oh the other iPhones or Android phones involved in these exchanges have had these issues. Having to reboot her phone all the time to start receiving them is really crazy.
