With Group FaceTime in iOS 12 I read that it won’t work on iPhone 6 and previous models and that you can only do audio? This is a really disappointing if it’s true.

Is this true? I was under the impression that it worked on all devices running iOS 12?!?

If true why even support the devices??

I’ll have to read further into this one. We have newer devices in our house, but family members and friends have iPhone 6’s and 5S... hmm

I read this info on a website yesterday. I don’t recall which site but it mentioned this information. I was also under the impression that as long as your device is running iOS 12 then it would work. I really hope this isn’t true either. Hopefully someone can chime in and confirm.

I’ve heard the details can also be found in the beta notes. If anyone can find and share the details on specifically which device supports Group FaceTime that would be great.
