Hey gang, uploading photos to Flickr, etc. is super easy -- anyone you want can see the photos.

BUT, what if you are on a trip with 4 friends, and you all want to share photos with each other? Are there online services that provide free photo sharing where *multiple users* can upload to an album?

If security is a concern, maybe only the 4 specific (registered and signed in) users could upload new photos - email addresses or usernames designated by the mod...

Is there any site out there that does this?

SmugMug allows you to add a guest password of sorts that allows password-holders to change the site around.

OK, here's the low-down:

Pros ($150/yr) can give out guest passwords, which let password holders to change the site around (including adding photos) (see http://smugmug.com/help/guest-passwords).

Expensive, right? Well there's another option: photos by email (open to all users, lowest is $40/yr)
See http://smugmug.com/help/camera-phones .

Save yourself $5 and me $10; use the referral code AD2YtsjXceosE if/when you sign up.

I guess I'm just confused as to why the major photo hosting sites wouldn't have a group-contribute option. Sharing trip/holiday photos from multiple sources is such a pain.

I'm almost certain that 23hq.com supports this.

I'll post later when I'm sure if they do or don't :)
