currently on version 3.0 when you send a group SMS it is actually sent as a MMS rather than an SMS. Is anyone aware of a patch that would fix this? I know the new version of bite SMS has it as an option but it seems strange that version 3 defaults to MMS for group messages. I've already written to apple but as usual there's no reply, no doubt because most providers have free SMS were as for MMS you have to pay based on usage. So if anyone has any solutions that would be great!

And while I'm asking, is there any way to stop the iPhone defaulting to the phone app when you miss a call and turn it on. I don't know if anyone else finds it annoying but I do. Anytime someone calls or misscalls and you unlock the phone ... bam .. the phone app is started. If anyone has a patch to stop that too that would be great!
I agree, I would like to know how to change this. Since I can't get MMS to work on AT&T, I can't send group SMS messages anymore.
Perhaps a new carrier file from AT&T that enables MMS will fix this?
