Groupon price gouging?

Just received this email "offer" from Groupon. Call it gouging or scalping, but is this even legal? Am I missing something?

I just got the email too....well from my understanding Groupon doesn't sell anything. They are a market place for others to sell, and they take a good percentage of the sale. Not sure how accurate that is, but seems most likely the situation.

Interesting point. Sad to think that many people will think they're getting a good deal when in reality they're getting screwed. It's a $180 markup!
