Groups in iChat?

Hey all. I have OS X Panther 10.3.9 and I want to be able to view my buddy list in group form. I have seem people do this in the monthly desktop section of the site but I can't get my iChat to do it. I can view as groups but not more group than one. I want to be able to see my buddy list as it shows in Adium or AIM. Can I do this in the Panther version of iChat or is this Tiger only? Thanks
