Why is this so difficult to do? I have an iPhone with 1.0.2 software on it and I have been using 3rd party apps for over a month now. (I am still using AT&T and not trying to leave them) I install Appsnapp so that I could use 1.1.1 software and still not lose my 3rd party programs. After installing appsnapp and everything working fine, I am still on 1.0.2.

Do I now upgrade my software to 1.1.1 via iTunes and I will still get to keep my programs? Or do I have to go thru the Appsnapp process after upgrading via iTunes?

Please someone help me out or point me to a forum that explains what is the best method.

Upgrade....and at this point I would just suggest you do a full restore to 1.1.1. Then do appsnapp.

You have to upgrade then do the AppSnapp and put your apps on all over again.

thank you, i went ahead and did that, it worked, but now when i upload my custom ringtones in the ringtone folder in the library, they will not show up as m4a files. when i make them m4r files they show up but do not play. anyone have an isight on ringtones in 1.1.1 with 3rd party apps.

i dont know why people are upgrading to 1.1.1 :-s my 1.0.2 works fine and im quite happy with it i jus want a itunes store on my fone lol
