Y Wont GTA 4 be on PC any reason, GTA SA Did and it was very popular so y wont they have PC verison

Dey iz xclusiv innit.

In all seriousness there is always the possibility but my guess is that at least for a significant period Rockstar et al are tied into a very lucrative exclusivity deal with Playstation. Once sales start to flag or after a prescribed time in the contract there would likely be a decision made whether it would be financially sensible to commit resources to a port.

Actually it's being released on the 360 at the same time as the PS3.

Yes, I found this interesting aswell...

when they did this with SA (delay for xbox after PS2 release) this provided alot of 1st time ps2 buyers who purchased a PS2 instead of an xbox for that very reason!

i was one of them!

Yes we knew that it was out on PC

We are talking about GTA 4 which is the unreleased version of GTA

Currently there is nothing suggesting that it is to be released on PC (although it probably will be!)

Because Rockstar will have to make a whole different game for it to be on the PC. Not sure if they will do that... maybe, maybe not

PS3 & 360 = Next Generation
PC & PS2 = Current Generation

I don't mean to flame but that is a wrong statement. If anything, the PS3 and Xbox360 are a generation behind the PC.

because adding yet another version of the game will add even more delays to an already delayed game, thats what I'm guessin. Money says a PC version comes out some way down the road.

What NEXT-GEN games have been made for PC ? When i mean next-gen, i mean HD 1080p, Blu-ray disc etc...

Take FIFA 08 for example, its on the 360/PS3 and also on PC/PS2. But both are COMPLETELY different games in terms of gameplay and graphics. a HUGE difference.

A decent computer would bury a PS3/360 in in an instant.
Sure, the PS3 has a 3.2GHz PPC Processor, and Blu-Ray; But not a single game has utilized the full capacity of a BRD. The only game that i could even think to take up that amount of space before shipment is GTA4, with its giant maps and such.
I would much prefer a PC with a bluetooth controller/joystick as a gaming station, as it can do so much more.

Show me a console that can play games at 2560x1600 (or 1600p if you wish), and can play a game with better graphics than Crysis and then we'll talk about which system is really next-gen...

Even multiplatform games like Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock have better graphics and higher resolutions on the PC, however you cut it, a PC will always beat a console, at least in performance and flexibility, graphics aside, just compare the HUGE amount of content the PC version of Oblivion has compared to the 360/PS3 version.

Consoles are great for being a unified, low-cost solution to play games (and also some games just work better on consoles) but when pitted face to face in terms of tech specs... they can't compare to PCs, not even when they are newly released, let alone almost 3 years after...

Because PC gaming is dying .

Seriously it may come out on the PC, several months later like it did with GTA:SA and GTA:VC
PC gaming is by no means dying!!

Try running Crysis on a 360/PS3 (if it were possible). The PC is way ahead of the 360 and PS3 in terms of processing power and graphics. You don't need an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray disc to play a game in hi-def...you need the right graphics card and screen resolution. PC widescreens already surpass 1080p TVs as Chone said.
