GTA IV on iMac 24" 2.66 4gb ram 9400m

First off, I'm not entirely sure what that guy means by "rendered" video. But a 9400M isn't going to run GTAIV in medium settings as well as that video made out to be.
It's a very misleading video. Look around for other non-rendered videos.

"Rendered" might mean not recorded real-time. Some games allow
you to save a demo and then render that later when not playing.

So what is seen in the video might not reflect what was actually
seen when playing.

I think there's very little chance that the iMac will run GTA IV nicely.

I have some doubts about the Macbook video too. Seems to fly in
the face of what everyone has been saying about what the game
needs to run well.
