What iMac do I need at least if I want to play GTA IV on it? I was planning on buying the 2.8 24'' model, but see wait MacWorld Jan brings first..

What specs do I need to play it nicely? When is the quality stuff bad or good?

Well the recommended is Quad 2.4, 2.25GB RAM, 18GB HDD, 8600GT (desktop version).

While you will be able to play it, even the fastest current IMac won't be able to run it anywhere even near the max settings.
If you are in the market for an IMac, I highly recommend waiting just a couple of days until early January 2009 when Apple will probably release updated IMacs. The only weakness of the current IMacs is gaming, spceifically the Graphics card.

Is GTA IV even out for Macs? Are you planning on playing it with Boot Camp or software like Crossover Games?

Like I said, I'll wait till MacWorld at least.

I would avoid running VMs entirely, it just won't work well unless you have a 8-Core Mac Pro. I just thought maybe they release a Mac version, that is why I was asking.
