Im have installed GTA IV on my mac and cant get it too run. Everytime i run it it starts the title sequence but then when the game starts to load, a dialog box loads which says

" GTA IV Fatal Error : texp70. Please install newest version of Direct X, or update Graphics card driver "

I have a 13 inch Macbook Pro,
OSX 10.6.8
Intel Core i5
2.3Ghz
4GB
Intel HD Graphics 3000

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers Vanderz

With your graphics card it will be virtually unplayable. Anyway, are you running this in bootcamp? What version of windows is it running under?

Don't worry, it runs like crap on my near maxed out desktop PC that I use solely for gaming...

Just get an used PS3 and the game, you'll get both used for less than $180, and you'll have a blast, especially playing it on your 50 inch TV, Liberty City (the virtual city the game is based in) shines on such a huge display. Afterwards you'll just sell both to close the same price!
