This is my first post so I am sorry if it is in the wrong place!

I recently purchased the standard GTA San Andreas for my macbook and there is serious graphic corruption, after about 1 minute of playing the game. The scenery becomes different colours (from normal) and much of it is made from black lines. Despite this the game runs fine and is not laggy at all.

The Macbook is from 2009 and is version 10.5.8. The processor speed is 2.4 GHZ intel Core 2 Duo, it has 2GB Ram and is running the Intel GMA X3100. Any other information I can provide.

If anybody could provide any information on how to fix this problem I would very much appreciate it. It states on the Rockstar website that a system update should be performed to fix this but this costs money so I would prefer not to have to do this.

Thanks again,

User 85 :)

As above.

BTW - If you buy it get ready to enter in all the controller commands manual before you can play. If you don't have a controller the game is impossible to play. I'm shocked that this game was ported to Mac without a fix for the horrible lack of controller support the original PC ver. of the game had almost 10 years ago.
What a ripoff.
