Hi,

I installed a new "un-flashed" GTX 570 in my 2009 Mac Pro. I used Kext Helper to install a hacked GeForceGLDriver I found on this site and repaired my permissions. My LuxMark test (benchmark GPU only) looks like this:

Screen%20Shot%202012-07-22%20at%201.39.21%20PM_o.png

the score does vary a bit, but it seems to be good. I did notice this:

Screen%20Shot%202012-07-22%20at%201.30.46%20PM_o.png

Does that mean anything? Am I getting 5 Gb on the PCI slot? Did the OpenCl hack work?

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think that graphics cards even show up in the PCI Cards pane. Mine doesn't. They all use PCI Express. If you go to the Graphics/Displays pane, it should say "bus: PCIe".

That said, I don't know why you're getting that error message. It may be a separate problem.

Known issue with the System Profiler app and non-EFI cards. I think it basically barfs when it finds a VBIOS-only card. Unlikely to ever be fixed, since it's an issue with the app itself and the app is written by Apple (i.e. it's not a driver thing etc).
