GTX 980 Drivers

How long does it take for drivers to be released usually? I just installed the latest security update for Yosemite and I cannot use the 980. There are no driver updates either. I was able to share the screen and boot into my Windows partition. I guess I will use that for a few days.

Is there a usual amount of time before a driver is released?

few days usualy, just change osx build version (as described in another thread) to old one and be fine

Do you know of a way to disable auto security updates from apple? Or does simply unchecking the apple store update box in system preferences do the trick?

You can disable auto updates via system prefs/app store.

Better to do this IMO:

I updated to the new security update (14C1514)) and reinstalled the b4 Web Driver, and the Web Driver is working again.

I don't think so. At least not on my system.
