Hi all,

I bought a GTX 980 Ti in November or December of 2015, and it worked great, but over the last month and a half or so I've noticed that it's starting to glitch out.
I was stuck on older drivers until a project I was working on was completed, and once I updated to the latest drivers for Yosemite the problem seemed to go away for a few days, but then came back.
I'm seeing strange just visual blocks and glitches and incomplete drawing. I'm hoping the card is ok, but I'm starting to think it may be a hardware problem since the driver update didn't fix it.

Other weird things that have happened is there for a little while before the update Quicktime 7 played back all glitchy and crashed the computer.

And ever since I got it the random image online won't render correctly. I don't know if that's for sure related to the card, but seems like it could be.

All of these images were taken after I updated, but I have more from the pre-update phase that are similar in nature.

Anyone familiar with this behavior? Going to contact seller this week if it looks like it's hardware.

This might be related to the bugs I outlined in the GTX 1080 Discussion. There are links to forums where glitches like these have been recorded. If you could test the card in Windows then you should be able to tell if it is a driver or hardware issue.

There was also a glitch last year in the drivers that caused certain images in web browsers to appear like that if the images didn't have an sRGB color profile assigned to them. But that is supposed to have been fixed.

I've seen that. I have a 980ti running a 4k display. when I do rendering work in Blender, it shows up when the card is out of VRAM. I usually have to put the monitor in a lower resolution and restart.

there is a newer web driver. 346.03.06f01 out. maybe you should try that.
