seems like a bargain! About to hit the purchase button but thinking about what if pascal support is just around the corner???

Also, I know the reference blower types are hotter and louder, but if I got a gamer OC model with 2x 8 pin power sockets will I be able to power it buy tapping into 2 sata power rails?

The CUDA 8 drivers for Sierra that were released just a few days ago claim to support Pascal cards. I take that as a good sign for Pascal display drivers, but obviously I'm not promising or predicting anything.

UNIFIED MEMORY SUPPORT ON MAC OS X
In addition to Pascal support in CUDA 8, CUDA 8 platform support for Unified Memory expands to Mac OS X. Now developers using Macs with NVIDIA GPUs can take advantage of the benefits and convenience of Unified Memory in their applications.

If this is true I wonder if someone with a Pascal card can do CUDA compute in Sierra to test this, because I'm skeptical.
