If I buy a gtx680 mac edition in the USA and use this in a uk bought 5,1 - will this worK all ok?

The uk prIce fOr the gtx680 mac is $790!! - where's the cheapest place (online - delivered) in USA?

Also, if I buy a USA gtx670 gigabyte edition, which I hear is the best- uses less power than the gtx680 and is whisper quite), will this also work in a uk 5,1? Just drops in? Will updating to .4.5 - 10.9 etc... Kill any drivers or will it be good in defineatly?

This is the gtx670 I was going to get?

I have a Gainward Phantom GTX 670 in my Mac Pro 4,1/5,1 upgraded hex 3.33 GHz.

It works just fine, although without boot screens, out of the box in 10.8.3 with one exception; Civilization V.

As for the future, no one really knows but I feel it's likely this kind of "unofficial" support is intentional and will continue.

I also doubt there's any difference between UK and US versions.

hmmm may be a good opportunity to buy a Hex update to my QC 2.8 as I think i read somewhere intel are ceasing manufacture
- best place to buy a 6core in the USA? Online / Physical store?

Is the cheapest retail Pricing I have seen down another $15 since I last looked and a video card just works no matter where you are located they all follow the same standard. You just need the special mini 6 pin to standard 6 pin cables that fit a Mac Pro.

Is the cheapest I have found them, if doing the processor swap a Torx T15 screwdriver about 4" long works well for removing the HSF. Oh and Newegg seems to be the only place that has the 680s for ~$600 US.
