GTX780Ti and R9 290X

Santa came early (and was dressed in brown with a brown sleigh...hmmm?)

A GTX780 Ti and an R9 290X showed up.

Sadly, neither one showed up with Mac desktop.

I had been hoping that 780Ti would use same device id as original 780...it didn't.

So as of 10.9, there are no drivers for either.

So....

time to start looking for 10.9.1 and to see about inserting device id into drivers.

Nvidia has hidden where they go, looks like i'll have to look.

Hopefully 10.9.1 will enable one or the other.

Or if Nvidia releases Web driver for 10.9, maybe?

So, many of you had written with hope for EFI'd 780Ti. I'll write an EFI, but it will be a road to nowhere for time being.

I was thinking of getting dual K6000s, considering that the GTX 780ti is similar to the K6000 does it mean they won't work either?

I have a EVGA 780GTX SC and I have a X5 booster. I bought the booster for the radeon 7970 I had before the GTX. I never tried my GTX 780SC without booster, so I don't know if it works fine powered only by the MacPro power supply.

Macvidcards moded my gtx, but I still use it with the 450W booster.

I'm hoping to use it without external power, which seems doable with the flash.
Haven't got a response from MVC yet. Hopefully I can get it modded over the weekend. Got some projects lined up and my MBPR isn't that great for editing 4k.
