GUI becomes sluggish with external display

So I have a MBP 13in 2020 (intel, 4 thunderbolt ports).

The problem I have is when I connect an external display, at first everything is perfect then as the hours passed, it becomes more and more sluggish. If I disconnect the display, everything is super fast on the MBP itself. If I reconnect, it sluggish again.

To fix it, I reboot then I'm ok for several hours until it start again.

Any idea why?

I too notice this on my 16" MacBook Pro (also intel, 4 thunderbolt ports). Mine started after one of the patches.

I read somewhere 2 weeks ago that it is fixed in the beta of the next macos but I can’t find ot anymore
