Guide buying a new mac

Hi guys many all of u replying and gave me some advice, it help me a lot thankyouu but i decided to buy the macbook air m1 2020 not the pro's because i think it's enough for my daily use (beside when i said i want to learn adobe ps and ai)

Get a M1 MacBook Air - do NOT, at all costs, get a 2019 MBP!! They have failing keyboards (butterfly mechanism), and they thermal throttle even under normal load. So just get an M1 MacBook Air. In plus, it'll last you MUCH longer than an Intel Mac!

Go for the M1 Pro 2020.
If you wanna go m1 on a budget.
It has a fan if you are using it intensely (photoshop).

And it has the Touch Bar ( which I absolutely love).
It doesn’t have the wedge shape (I don’t like the wedge shape personally).
It’s not a lot more expensive than the m1 air.

Not all of them, the 16" MBP from 2019 was the first one where they went back to the superior scissor keyboard, the other models from that year had or kept the garbage keyboard. That said, it's sound advice to not get an Intel MacBook Pro now (unless you have very particular use cases that require an x86 chip).

Don't get the 8GB base model! Get at least the 16GB version.

Best bang for the buck is an M1 MBA w/ 16 GB. Upgrade pick: MBP14 base model.

OP is going just to learn Photoshop and Illustrator, not to produce 10 meters wide billboards.
