Guide to creating themes?

Is there a guide that shows you how to:

1. Create a theme and/or icons?

2. Shows you how to correctly install the team onto your iPhone?


I just want to change the icons on my iPhone, but I really have no understanding to what size they need to be, where to install them, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think most people just kind of figure it out by installing a few themes through Cydia and seeing how they work ...

I second this, it's how I learned.

Sort of related to topic: When i SSH to the applications folder, and download the icon.png for any of the apple installed apps (sms, phone, etc) And try to open them it's a corrupted file, however the icon.png for any other app (non apple) is not corrupted? I'm trying to grab all the icons I use so i can edit them myself, but it's useless if i can't grab the apple icons.
