So we've been using guided access for our son when we're out and about.

I've made it so the only buttons that work are the triple click home button. Now though whenever we put her phone into guided access it gets stuck in that mode. It works, but in order to get out of it you triple click the home button and the window to type in the passcode only comes up about 1/2 way as you can see below. The only way we can get her phone back is to go to icloud.com and find my iphone and put her phone in lost mode.

I thought it was only every once in awhile, but i just tried putting her phone in guided access then immediately taking it off and it got stuck again.

Anyone have any ideas if there's something i can do to fix this or is it just a bug in iOS right now?

I have just tried guided access and my passcode screen fully pops up, not just half way there.
Yours is shown like your photo and tapping cancel to try again does not help?

Correct. Hitting cancel just goes back to whatever app we had open. We cant even hold power to turn off the phone.

Do you allow Touch ID to end guided access? I have it enabled and I just need to firmly press home button once to end guided access.

I think this is going to do the trick. Plus i also got the sleep/wake button turned on during guided access. So just in case the touch id doesn't work we can hopefully hold down to power off her phone.

I got my fingerprint on her phone as well just in case she's busy or something.

After a test, I find I can force restart the device when guided access is enabled. I don't know if you can. Of course I have "sleep/wake button" enabled.
