Guild Wars and VM questions.

Ok so I'm soon to get a new 24" iMac, 2.8Ghz w/ ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256 MB, and I'm also going to be upgrading my HDD in my MacBook, currently on both my current iMac and my MacBook I have Parallels 3 set up to use my Window XP Boot Camp partition. However I think I'd like to do away with using boot camp, the only thing I really need it for is to play Guild Wars and anything else I use parallels for.

So I was wondering if I could use Crossover Games for Guild Wars and just a Windows XP VM through fusion 2.0 or Parallels 4, or if possible would Guild Wars run on fusion or parallels? better or worse than Crossover Games?

Also I might install a VM for Windows 7, does it matter which VM program I use for Windows 7? Also, though I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this one I will ask anyway, am I stuck using Boot Camp on my old white MacBook for Guild Wars or will it run through Crossover Games? (again also Fusion or Parallels)

Basically how do you people with experience thing I should do this? I will be testing the programs out as I haven't used any of them, but since my iMac doesn't get here till Wed I decided to ask.

EDIT: If I upgraded my MacBook to the new white one with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M would I then be able to run Guild Wars on Crossover games?

I would go with Crossover Games. I can easily play GW with it on my MBP, so I don't think you will have a problem playing it on your iMac. You will probably run into problems playing it in a VM as the graphics card is emulated and nowhere near as powerful as your actual graphics card.

As for you MB, you might be able to play GW with Crossover, not sure though.

TY, yeah I figured my plan would work pretty well for the iMac, now I just wonder about my MacBook, or perhaps the new white MacBook.

Mac2Sell.net said I could get about $700 for mine, and I know someone who wanted to buy it. That's not too far off from the new white MacBook, and then I'd get a super drive and better graphics, while still having FW, plus a new battery...not that mine's doing bad or anything, 95%/240 cycles, age 13 months, but it's still a 5% bonus in battery capacity, at least for a while.
