Guitar Hero 3 Xbox controller issue

I just got guitar hero 3 for mac, and I'd like to use the xbox GH3 controller with it.

However, when I open up the game and the controller is plugged in, as soon as I get to the menu screen, it just starts auto-scrolling through the selections and I can not stop it or chose anything.

I did have some x-box controller drivers previously, and I did delete them all, but I think that may have something to do with this.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Having Same Problem With Guitar

Hey dude me and other guy having same problem check this:

I also had a xbox360 driver installed before i installed guitar hero III. So removed the driver and the game. Reinstalled without the driver and still had the same problem. Ill keep you posted and you do the same, thanks.

I had the same problem and managed to find the solution finally.
goto http://www.tattiebogle.net/index.php/ProjectRoot/Xbox360Controller/OsxDriver
and download then install
Driver (no Guitar Hero) (disk image) => http://files.tattiebogle.net/360/360ControllerInstallNoGuitar.dmg

The XBOX controller console won't detect the USB guitar but it's perfectly fine. Start GH3 and rock with your guitar!
