Hi Just wondering if any designers have signed up with this website and your opinion about it. I'm thinking of paying the $200 to get the "Guru Member VENDOR" status since you can't do anything with the basic free profile.

I figure this website sounds better than design competition ******** where you work your ass off designing something only for the other crappy rip'off design to win!

so anyone tried GURU.com with any success!

The prices employers on there are offering are laughable.

Of course, in this economic climate, even I might have to consider it. Still, $500 for magazine design? That's quite an undervaluation.

yeah i notice the prices too...pretty lame, everything seems to be dirt cheap. No one cares to pay for quality design anymore maybe it's the economy.
