Probably means that they will ship on April 29th, and it was changed to Priority so that people get it on April 30th and they can still make they "Late April" release.

Hey guys, I just checked my order status.
They change the shipping method from standard to priority.
What does it mean? Will 3G IPAD ship next week???
It means they aren't going to be able to ship them by the time you expected, so they are trying to temper your disappointment by upgrading your shipping.
I don't know how long its been this way but it is now "Priority".
I have no idea what that means though, except maybe they're working to eliminate some of the rants of the last go round.

Same here, but I can't remember the last time I looked at the 'detail' section of the order... since on the summary, you can tell it's not 'moved'. (Ordered at 8:32 on 3/12, BTW)
I'm also wondering (based on all the issues we heard here, as said, if they will use UPS again or not). Or, if they will or won't aim for a weekend delivery. Arg... so many variables.....

I wonder if this is an indication that they'll be using FedEx since the WiFi went out Ground UPS. FedEx uses different drivers for Ground vs Express.

Good catch! Mine says priority now too. My gut says they are close to shipping these and are getting their ducks in a row. I bet we'll see the first batch go out within the next week, possibly even prepared for shipment tomorrow or Saturday.
They will have to charge our credit cards first and that hasn't started happening yet.
I never noticed that detail before but mine says "Some via U.S. Postal". I ordered a few other items with it at 0805 on March 12th.

My status is also priority and I ordered 3/13.
I already downloaded a bunch of free apps and have about $70 worth of paid apps on my wishlist and ready to hit the buy all button once I synch up.
