So..... I'm stressed out again. I have "delivery change requested: Hold for Pickup" and selected my local customer center however, the status now today is showing "out for delivery". So.... is it being held at my customer care center? Or is it actually on a truck heading to my home? I certainly didn't leave a pre-sign for it so if it's going to my home that will be useless. I'm not sure if they return to the customer center BEFORE the customer center closes... so if they try to make a delivery attempt I might not have the option to pick it up, unless I literally block the parking lot and ask each truck as they return to the customer center...

(My customer center closes at 6pm, packages on my route are often delivered as late as 7 or even 7:30pm on busy days...)

I’ve seen it say out for delivery before then change to the message saying it’s ready for pickup.

That's reassuring! UPS really needs to hire some damn English speaking reps. I specifically asked them what "Out for Delivery" meant and if it was being held or was actually on a truck. They replied that I can visit the web page and track my package to see the status. Then they said that my hold request will be processed when the UPS hub gets my package. I asked them if the package reaches the hub BEFORE being put on a truck and listed as "out for delivery" and they replied I could use the web site to check the status. They followed up then with saying that UPS is processing my request for hold for delivery and when the process is done it will be routed to my customer care and I could check online to see when that was.

Well I put in the request 3 days ago when the package was still in Korea, so either they're really freaking slow at processing, or my truck literally backs up to the plane, gets all the packages, and starts his delivery route and THEN goes to the hub to sort them.... or UPS's site is really horrible when it comes to trying to provide information.
