iPad Pro Guys Using Glass Screen Protector on your iPad Pro ?

I have a question to all of you guys who are using a tempered glass screen protector on the iPad Pro. isn't it that tempered glass screen protector ( A Good Quality One) which already comes with an Oleophobic coating supposed to completely resist all the finger print marks coming on the screen all the time ? I have applied a good quality tempered glass screen protector on my iPad Pro. Yet when I type using the full screen keyboard on the iPad screen it leaves sometime, but this is not always, but occasionally it still leaves finger print marks on the screen. So How is this thing supposed to work ? is it supposed to all the time supposed to not let finger print marks coming on the screen ? Or occasionally sometimes there will be some finger print marks that would still appear on the screen ? Even if you have applied no matter any good glass screen protector ?

What has been you guys experience ? Do you guys get finger print marks on your tempered glass screen protector screen ?

Oleophobic means oil resistant so an oleophobic coating helps in reducing smudges from fingerprints but does not - cannot - fully eliminate them. When I used a tempered glass protector, it still got fingerprints but I found it easier to clean than a bare screen. As I have mentioned, I removed it due to glare and reflection issues.

Mine still gets occasional fingerprints and smudges, but not nearly as many, and they are much easier to clean. Without the protector, it’s a total fingerprint and smudge magnet.

I remember @AutomaticApple in another thread complaining about how when he had a tempered glass screen protector on his iPad, he noticed fingerprint marks all over it and threw the screen protector away. Maybe he could elaborate on that. My memory is fuzzy.

Thank you bringing that to my attention, but I was not using a tempered protector in that scenario.

I was using a matte protector at the time, but thank you anyways!

Even mine still gets finger prints but they are not as much as they are on the naked screen. So even if you have the screen protector applied, finger prints would still come right ? Or is it like since it has an Oleophobic coating it is supposed to 100% not get any fingerprint marks at all ?

Actually I also had a word with the customer service of that screen protector manufactuerer company and even she said the same thing. The screen protector is supposed to reduce finger prints but not completely eliminate it. It cannot 100% eliminate it. No matter how good of a screen protector you apply in the world. Which without the screen protector on the naked screen would be atleast 3 Times more is what she said.

Yes but they are minimal compared to no screen protector. The CSR was correct imho.

Yeah. I used one solely for the reduced smudging and easier cleaning - worked great for that.
