Hi MacRumours,

We're a small team of 4 from Melbourne, Australia who've been working on an app to solve the problem of movie discovery.

A lot of people have tried, but we're working on some things that bring a new perspective to the problem.

Ultimately we believe:

• Genre is not enough, so we're injecting Mood into the process
• Recommendation algorithms aren't the answer, so we're very focused on the UI that allows you to effortlessly browse movie suggestions
• Movies are inherently social, so we're building features that naturally compliment the way you find a movie to watch by yourself, with your partner or in a group
• Your smartphone should control your TV, so we've integrated Gyde into your Apple TV via AirPlay Mirroring - this one is pretty cool
