I'm guessing some entrepreneuring hackers will find a way to get some stuff some of us want on the iPhone, like Flash plug-in support and, who knows, maybe some applications.
I don't think it is a matter of "if", it is a matter or "when", so, allow me to present you this poll, how long before the iPhone is hacked?

The only ones that could port Flash is adobe. Thats because it would require a recompile, its a totally different CPU then what's already supported.

I am guessing it will be done, but its going to take some time. Who knows if they have started it yet. My guess is, if they haven't started already .... then they will wait to see how big it gets. If its big enough, start it.

Well, if the iPhone really does run OSX, a la how AppleTV really does run OSX, I believe we'll see hacks very quickly. Albiet, not as fast as we saw Apple TV hacks, but we will see them quickly.

It'll just be a matter of porting it to the processor, and you know...actually writing the app.:p

Or Apple could have done what MS did with Xbox 360 by not allowing modded devices on to the live network. Or how the Zune or 360 have the locks on it so it makes it hard to hack.

Its already started if you are privy to certain IRC channels you can see people are getting closer and closer everyday.
