Has anyone seen any effective hacks that'll shrink the size of the massive trackpad on our Apple laptops? I have never gotten used to these ginormous track pads and palm rejection works very poorly for me. I've owned the first MBP to come with these giant trackpads and I've never gotten used to it.
To this day, I'm still constantly registering stray clicks, losing drag selections, and accidentally flipping to another window in the middle of typing. It's really annoying. Also, my thumbs sometimes hurt from having to exaggerate my hand posture so that my palms don't get anywhere near the trackpads.
Does anyone else have persistent problems with the trackpad? Any good solutions out there? I've seen photos of people who resorted to laying down electrical tape. Is there anything out there that'll fix this problem in a more elegant way?
