I had transferred my service from a standard SIM to an eSIM last year when I first got my 11 Pro Max. There were issues with the eSIM, so, I got a new SIM card from AT&T and had the service put back on a physical SIM.

I keep seeing the "Used as "USER_LABEL_SECONDARY" No SIM" message on the cellular screen since then. I've now migrated the date to my new 12 Pro Max, reset network settings, and it STILL shows up after each reboot. When I tap on it, I get a popup window that says "Cellular Plan No Longer Available -- Do you want to update the contacts that were using this line to use your "Primary" line?"

When I tap "update contacts", the Used as "USER_LABEL_SECONDARY" goes away -- until the next reboot.

Just super annoying, and I'd like it to go away forever..

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, settings general reset remove all cellular plans.
This will delete all your esims.

It will keep coming back. The only way to get rid of it permanently is to wipe the phone and set it up as new. It's not affecting anything by being there. It's tied to a bug that's been around since eSIM first became available on iPhone where the eSIM phone number was assigned to one of your contacts in the past. I finally got rid of old "secondary" showing when I set my new 12 up as new. Never wanted to go the trouble before.

ugh.. Really? That sucks.. I thought for sure it'd go away when I replaced the phone with the new one. :(

Nope. It would have if you had set the new phone up from scratch or with a backup that was prior to when you installed the eSIM. On to newer and better though.
