When I make a call and I take the iphone away from my head after the call is done, the screen goes black, rendering all other parts of the phone useless untill I hang up the call and hit the reset button again.

And today, the iPod started skipping and stopping and starting when I put it in my pocket and start walking.

Needless to say Im going to bring it to the geniuos bar and hopefully will be getting a new one.

Have had mine since June 30.

Odd. And a restore did nothing?

The screen is suppose to go black, when BY your head. Sounds like yours is in reverse!

As for the pocket problem, also odd since the screen lock would be on = no user input. And even if not locked, its a capacitive screen so only conductive materials would activate it, not cloth.
