so i have the 3G, had it JB on 3.1.2 with blackra1n...and tethered with the sinful repo 3.1.2 hack. worked great.

dropped the fone at the bar last nite, screen broke....had to reformat it to bring into the genius bar this morning....soooo

im back on a fresh 3.1.3 3G iphone, whats the current best way to jailbreak and get my tethering back guys...thanks

Shift-restore to 3.1.2, jailbreak with redsn0w, and use eagos' commcpatchSigned to patch CommCenter and renable the tethering hack. You have updated your baseband, so you will not be able to unlock or re-enable tethering using blacksn0w. You can still use the sinful tethering "patch" if you prefer, but I prefer eagos' as it is a true patch rather than a replacement.
