Weirdest luck ever. So, after reading some stories on the net, I decided to defragment my Mac (I know they SUPPOSEDLY don't need to be defragged, but I came across compelling arguments that they do). So, I backed up my Mac using Time Machine (except for my "Music" folder, since it's always changing) and used "Drive Genius 2.2" to defrag my Mac. Worst. Mistake. Ever. It basically corrupted my hard drives file structure making "Macintosh HD" unable to mount. Tried to use Techtool Pro 5 to fix it and Leopards Disk Utility (booted off disk) to no avail. Finally came to accept that I was going to lose all my music and decided to just restore from Time Machine backup.

Time Machine worked flawlessly. Then, I used Senuti to send all music and video i had on my iPhone back to my Mac so that's good as well. My problem now is that iTunes is acting like my iPhone isn't the same iPhone that has been syncing to it forever now. It basically wants to wipe it clean before it'll allow it to sync and I won't let it because I have months and months of aggregated app data that I don't want to lose. Since Time Machine did not back up iTunes, iTunes has zero of the approx. 150 apps I have on my iPhone.

How do I get all the apps on my phone BACK into iTunes WITH all user data within the files? I really don't wanna lost all this stuff. Someone please help!

Did you authorize the computer? If so, you can just click on "transfer purchases."

Aggie, I have one question though (as my apps are being transferred): Does this actually transfer the data WITHIN the apps? So, Gas Cubby for example....is this transferring all my gas purchasing data with it or is it ONLY transferring the app?

It's only transferring the app AFAIK. You need to backup your iPhone to get the app data over. Just right click on the iPhone in iTunes to the left and click backup.

Ok. I've done that. Is there ANY way I can VERIFY that my app data is now backed up. I'm just nervous as hell about hitting "Sync" on the "Are you sure you want to sync applications? All existing applications and their data on the iPhone "iPhone" will be replaced with applications from this iTunes library" prompt and having all my apps on my phone replaced with apps with no data in them.

That would suck.

Well, I need to make sure I understand what you're done. You did the backup that I talked about? If you did the backup (not talking about the transfer purchases), then your game save data "should" be there. That is what a backup contains among other things. See this thread for more info:

As always, YMMV, so don't come after me if something goes wrong. However, if you've done all that, you should be okay.

Then it's just time to go ahead and wait on pins and needles to see if it works. :) I always wonder if something is going to go wrong every time.

Sorry for being greedy with information and not updating this thread with my results guys. So basically, I followed exactly what Aggie said and it worked like a charm. I have all my app data and everything is flawless. :) Thanks for the help!
