Had unlocked/jailbroken 1st gen iphone then crashed and know how to QuickPwn

Hey like the title says, My friend sold me his 1st gen iPhone which was already jailbroken and unlocked with QuickPwn running 2.2.1. My cousin was playing with my phone and was installing apps in Cydia and added the source xsellize (apparently they have free cracked apps there), and he installed the app mysms. After reading myself on their website, this cracked app is giving alot of ppl problems, where the ppl had to restore their iphones in itunes.

So last night i tried doing the same, itunes made me download 2.0.2 and so i then downloaded it and tried to install it, then we the iphone reloaded i guess it wanted me to activate my phone and its saying invalid sim(it should only be at&t). Then QuickPwn is saying the phone is not recognized. I have downloaded 2.2.1 from the source from the sticky on this site. What should i do? I cannot control click on the iphone in itunes to restore/update etc only eject.

Please help. I have a mac and pc. but would prefer to use the mac.

I should add I'm trying to use it on rogers in canada and would like it jailbroken and unlocked to 2.2.1.

ya...it wasn't me, i had already paid $0.99 for an app to do the same thing from the app store. Could some please help and not waste my time.

I have already tried this.
Forced Restore:
1) Turn iPhone off by holding down the Sleep/Wake Button for about 5 seconds or until the Slide to Power Off slider appears.
2) Slide Power Off slider. If iPhone is unresponsive, follow the Hard Reset instructions up to Step 3.
3) Open iTunes on your computer (Mac or PC).
4) Hold the Home Button down while you connect your iPhone to your computer via a USB cable.
5) iTunes should prompt you with a message saying an iPhone has been detected in Recovery Mode and that you must Restore it to before it can be used with iTunes.
6) Click Ok.
7) Click Restore a message should appear confirming that you want to Restore and Update.
8) Click Restore and Update. The restore has been initiated. Leave your iPhone connected until you iPhone reboots and syncs with iTunes.
