Half Loaded Movie on my iPad from iTunes

I have a half loaded movie on my iPad that I purchased on iTunes through my iPad iTunes app. (The first movie I downloaded worked fine although took a day and a half).

Now I have a flashing download "1" on the app. Next to the movie, it says, "Download Error, tap to retry." When I tap to retry, it tries then quits in 3 seconds and I'm back where I started.

I synced up to my MacBook thinking I could see a partially loaded movie or something to cancel but no luck there.

Anyone else had this? Is there a solution?

Don't tell me that Apple wants me to reload iTunes onto my iPad. That's really poor of them if that's the case.

I have the same problem and it's a real pain in the ass because I have to constantly enter my iTunes password whenever it tries to download the movie in the background.
