Ok so i know a macbook isn't really a "gaming" computer, but i recently have booted my macbook 2.16ghz 2gb ram 160 hd into windows xp via bootcamp.
I installed halo 1 and i started playing the multiplayer mode which worked great. But then after a while i tried campaign mode, this on the other hand was terrible. It lagged so bad i couldnt even play, i mean it was like terrible terrible lag. I had no other apps open nuthin open, multiplayer worked great, but campaign mode was so bad there is now way i could play on it.

So theres my story, please post any input you may have.

thx

how much ram do you have in the macbook? with 2 gigs of ram on my macbook, gta vice city, and nba live 06 run just swimmingly in xp.

Lower the game resolution to 800 x 600 and see if it will play better.
Also set some video and audio settings on low.

thx, putting the resolution lower didnt help but i turned off decals and sum of the video settings and it worked fine- well pretty good- good enough:D
