hi there !

does any one have a Hamilton watch ? would they recommend it? well made, accurate etc.... ?

Am thinking of treating myself to to a Khaki Field Manuel or maybe Automatic, but have never actually seen one in person

If you like analog watches, I guess its nice. My last wrist watch was digital. These days, I only carry a pocket watch.

Bottom line, is the cost though.

had a hamilton years ago. The one that was a copy of the IWC Mark 10.

The brand is sooo pre 9/11. Get something exiting, google Suunto! :D

my dad has a hamilton automatic that he received as a high school graduation present in 1958-59
it still runs today with no problems

today hamilton from what I understand is part of the swatch group and the innards of the automatics and their higher end watches are no longer made in the US, instead they use excellent quality but generic swiss movements often found in much much more expensive swiss watches such as breitling and omega

They are Great

I love Hamilton watches

I have 3 of them , the Ventura (Elvis watch)

One jazzmaster and one Khaki

I usually buy them from www.watchship.com
they have great price and let me pay in Euros

Yeah

I have a Hamilton Navy Automatic with a white face it's automatic the back is glass for added bling. I can say it's been great and kept good time. I first saw this watch in the film "into the blue" (with jessica alba) ilked it's simplicity and style.
