I was on the street today and some kid gestured to someone else. See pic below. Sorry about the quality, I did it with an iSight. Can someone tell me what it means? Thanks, JohnMC.

A lady I know who's involved with the music industry once told me that, in addition to being a generic Rock! gesture, it's also a vodoo curse-type thing. Apparently, she used to tell the musician types who did it off.

But I'm sure that the individual who you saw doing it was indicating that he thought his friend rocked, or something.

Extended Thumb, Index and Pinkie I've usually seen/used as I Love You.

The Rock gesture has the thumb tucked under as does the Longhorn gesture (Hook'em Horns)

The bullsh*t sign has the thumb extended along the curled in middle and ring fingers and is made with a downward wrist motion.

Then someone needs to tell Kirk Hammett that he has been doing it wrong for the last 25 years. Or maybe's been saying I love you all along (see pic in post #3).
