I got a new iPhone 6S (my first iPhone but I had already got a MacBook Pro Retina), calls and messages seems to work but hand off simply doesn't. I paired my iPhone with my MacBook, I restarted them, double checked that I have signed my iCloud account on both devices and result is nothing... Nothing is happening when I try to use handoff. How do I fix it?

What version of iOS and OS X?

Is wifi and Bluetooth on (I don't think Bluetooth is required but for testing purposely lets just leave it on on both devices)?

Are you on the same wifi network?

Is continuity working at all? Meaning is there an icon popping up on your Mac to the left of the dock when using an Apple app? You can test this by playing in Safari on your phone while sitting in front of you Mac.

......

I'm not too sure about the contact issue but a couple of things.

If you have the contacts in the contact app on your Mac they should be syncing to the iPhone. If not then there is a syncing issue which could be part of your above problem we'll need to sort out.

Also if your contacts are synced with Google/gmail you should be able to goto settings > mail, contacts, calendar and sync them to your iPhone from there......I believe....

1) I am using OS X El Capitan on my Mac and iOS 9 on my iPhone 6S
2) Both wifi and bluetooth are on on both devices
3) Nothing shows up when I open safari on iPhone. No little icon on dock nor little icon on lock screen

Weirdly, I logged out ann then on, then I restarted both devices and contacts somehow synced, also mail and reading list did the same thing too, but still no hand-off feature.

Handoff and airdrop haven't worked for me through all the betas and the final version of 9.1
