I am getting some terrible AC3 audio sync issues with Handbrake (SD Sources) and tried a few of the 'other' apps, but they all pretty much suck.

Is there anything out there that will let me tweak with the ease of handbrake but possibly get results that do not have AC3 audio out of sync?

Thanks

I had some issues with HD movies using Handbrake. I could never figure it out. I stream everything from my MacPro to the :apple:TV and I couldn't get Handbrake to encode these movies properly for streaming purposes. The movies would always buffer, the audio was out of sync, and the picture quality was never that great.

Since I have FCP, I just use Compressor 3.5 to encode my movies and stream them to the :apple:TV. No buffering issues, no audio issues, and the picture looks great. If you can get your hands on compressor and have relative patience, it really is the way to go.

Does it retain the AC3 audio?

I have an older version, final cut studio 2, not sure if it will include compressor as it isn't currently installed?

Thanks
