Hey I have been using Handbrake for awhile now to encode DVD Rips and Visual Hub to encode movies that were from other sources. I have started to find MKV files that my MacMini doesn't seem powerful enough to playback (Bluray rips) Since I have been buying those and no longer buy DVDs for most movies I am forced to find them elsewhere. But back to my problem

Visual Hub won't encode them without them being choppy. I find that if my computer can't play them back Visual Hub can't encode. I have it on High Quality. But they will encode fine when I open them in Handbrake. Everything seemed to be working fine.

Now if I encode a movie using Handbrake then open it in Meta X and add all the info the video goes black and I loose audio. I have a few tv shows that I did in Handbrake a while back and Im just now getting around to them but they seem to be fine in Meta X. If I edit the data in iTunes the file is fine.

Any ideas what is going on? If people have a better way to do this process I am open to changes.

Thanks
WDE

Thanks!!!!! I did a search a few days ago for it and couldn't find anything but it just pissed me off again. I forgot about it and encoded about 5 movies (took my computer days to do all those) and I tagged them all...and they all came out black! Im pissed going out of town tomorrow and I was going to take the AppleTV...not anymore.
