Hi,

HB Apple TV presets choose 2500 bit rate.
Anyone use 1500 or 2000? Can we notice the difference in terms of video quality?
Yes I know the file size will be smaller but I'm more focused in image quality.

Finally I am streaming over a wireless g network. Most of the times i have no issues but higher bit rates implies more possibilities to have images freezes and buffering problems?

Thx a lot

You might want to go with 1500 if you have G. The optimal bit rate depends a lot on the content and many people can't tell the difference between 1500 and 2500 for most films. The improved streaming performance even if minimally inferior video quality would probably give you the best viewing experience.
