I am using my iMac G5 as the sync computer for my :apple:TV.

Tiger is the operating system on this machine. I have a several DVD's that I would like to rip and then sync to the :apple:TV,

When I went to the Handbrake website to download, it indicated that the latest version of Handbrake could rip the DVD so that it was compatible with :apple:TV. However, it indicated that it was Leopard compatible.

I found the older version for Tiger, but am not sure that it provides a format for ripping that is compatible for :apple:TV.

Does anyone know if the older version is?

If not, can I download the Handbrake for Leopard on my macbook pro, rip the DVD using Handbrake, and then move the file from my macbook pro to my imac, and then sync it to the :apple:TV? My concern here is that the file converted using the leopard version of Handbrake won't work on the Tiger imac.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could use 0.9.1 on Tiger, but its not as good and doesn't take full advantage of the Apple TV Take 2 software.

I would use 0.9.2 on your Leopard macbook pro, and then just transfer the files - they'll play fine on either OS.
